The Issue:
PERIOD POVERTY
Period poverty refers to a lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, education about menstruation, and period health support within the community. Period poverty often has close linkage to economic disadvantage and social stigma surrounding women’s menstruation.

Our mission is to raise enough money for $2,000 worth of period products
Our Project
Our aim is to promote personal hygiene awareness among girls residing in impoverished areas. We strive to normalize personal hygiene practices for girls and women, with an emphasis on menstrual hygiene. To accomplish this, we aspire to raise awareness about menstrual products and eradicate stigma surrounding menstruation. Furthermore, we work towards making menstrual products easily accessible for women and girls through advocating and directly facilitating pads.
